On a personal note...

I've been home from work for like a week and a half now, or something. Well, we had Monday off for Labor Day, which is right around the time I came down with some funky-ass sinus infection, and tried to show up to work on Tuesday and my boss promptly sent me right back out the door. They're leaving for most of the month for tradeshows and the last thing they need is to get this. (And the last thing I need is to get blamed for them getting sick while on the road.) And Wednesday was a no-go, and I tried to go back in on Thursday and my boss sent me home again, and told me to stay in on Friday as well... and then there's Saturday and Sunday, and this is the closest thing I've had to a vacation in YEARS! I mean, yeah... there's post-nasal drip, but that's a small price to pay for walking around in my jammies all day and eating junk food and listening to Air America all the damn time!

And we have a new kitten, so she and I have had some bonding time, and I've tried to teach myself CSS design. HAH! And then next week I have oral surgery on Wednesday, so that's only two days I have to work... wow. Sorry, I'm just boggled by all this non-working and how nice it is. :)
